Meet us in the Mountains
Getting There
Burke’s Garden and the surrounding Tazewell area are beautifully rural, which means accommodations are a bit more limited than in larger towns. We’re so grateful to everyone who’s making the trip and finding a place to stay, your effort to be with us truly means the world.
Traveling by plane
The closest airport is the Roanoke-blacksburg airport, located about 2 hours and 15 minutes from burke’s garden.
Other options include the Tri-Cities airport (TRI), greensboro (GSO), and Charlotte Douglas international (CLT).
We recommend renting a car or booking transportation in advance.
Transportation Information
Saturday, september 19th
Tazewell:
the bus pickup location in tazewell is the traveler on main. Even if you’re not staying at the traveler, you may ride one of the buses to the wedding. Buses will leave promptly from tazewell at 3:30 pm.
Bluefield:
One bus will be leaving promptly from the comfort inn in bluefield at 3:15 pm.
The buses will be making return trips around 8:30 pm and then again at the end of our reception.
Parking at the ceremony is extremely limited. We recommend riding the bus for the smoothest (and safest) experience. If you’re driving, please consider carpooling and park alongside the road so that buses can easily pass.
